![]() We did take the T to Fenway from the North Station and that was a very easy walk and trip. The neighborhood is charming, and we were close to everywhere he wanted to go between the North End, Faneuil Hall/Quincy market, as well as even Boston Commons & the Back Bay. We were so very excited, and the Kimpton Onyx did not disappoint. I took my 79-year-old dad to Boston so that he could see Fenway for the first time ever. Although I'm a Hilton Diamond member, I won't be staying at this hotel again in the future.… I'm really surprised at the attitude of this hotel's staff. Apparently, I was supposed to know that the remote only works if you are pointing it directly at the bottom right-hand corner of the TV. He got annoyed at me and said that I'm not using the remote control correctly. I called the front desk, and they sent their electrician. After that, my TV remote control wasn't working consistently. When I asked further as to what I should do then, they said that there's shower gel in the shower that I could use. I called the front desk, and they simply said that the hotel was out of hand soap. In my bathroom, there wasn't any hand soap for the sink. Unfortunately, that's kind of where the good stops. The good part of the Onyx is its location, namely its proximity to North Station, Faneuil Hall, and Quincy Market.
